How to Set Up Your Shopify Affiliate Program

This guide walks you through how to connect your Shopify store to Creator.co and create affiliate links that can be used in your campaigns.

Prerequisites

Before getting started, make sure:

• You have admin access to your Shopify store

• You are logged into your Creator.co brand account

Step 1: Connect Your Shopify Store

1. From your Creator.co dashboard, go to My Account.

2. Navigate to the Shopify section.

3. Click Connect Store.

You’ll be redirected to the Creator.co Shopify App page.

4. Click Install to begin the connection process.

5. Follow the prompts to approve access.

Once installed, you’ll be redirected back to Creator.co.

6. Click Get Started.

   • If you manage multiple brands, select the brand you want to connect your Shopify store to.

   • If you only have one brand, click Connect My Store.

✅ You should now see your Shopify store listed in the Shopify section of your account settings.

Step 2: Create an Affiliate Link

Creator.co does not generate affiliate links automatically. Instead, you can use your existing Shopify storefront or product URLs and track performance directly through Creator.co.

To create an affiliate link:

1. Go to the Affiliate tab in your dashboard.
   
   

2. Click Manage Links.

3. Select New Link.

Step 3: Add Your Affiliate URL

When creating a new link, you can use:

• Your storefront URL
  Example:
  https://yourstore.myshopify.com/

• A specific product URL
  Example:
  https://yourstore.myshopify.com/products/example-product

Paste the URL into the link field.

Step 4: Set Commission & Description

1. Add a description to help identify the link internally.

2. Enter the commission amount you want to offer creators.

Once complete:

3. Click Submit.

🎉 Your affiliate link is now ready to be added to campaigns and shared with creators.

Where can you find the creators' links?

The dashboard will generate a unique link for each individual creator. You can view these on each creator's opt-in.

How Tracking Works

Creator automatically tracks affiliate performance through Impact using unique link parameters.

Each link tracks:

• Which creator shared it
• Which campaign it belongs to
• Associated clicks and conversions

Data updates once per day and appears in your Affiliate Dashboard.
